What is the CHNV Parole Program?

Have you heard of the Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela Parole Program? On January 6, 2023, the Biden Administration opened a humanitarian parole program allowing certain nationals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela (CHNV) to apply for entry to the U.S. for a temporary stay of up to two years. Global Refuge's Policy and Advocacy Team answers some frequently asked questions about this program, including how it works and why it is important.
