Travel Loans
Global Refuge has been proud to support you and your family on your resettlement journey. As part of a structural change within the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP), however, the management of your loan account will be transitioning from Global Refuge directly to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the organization that originally provided your travel loan.
This change will be effective June 1, 2026.
We will do our best to make this transition seamless. IOM is fully equipped to provide you with excellent, uninterrupted service for your account.
For now, there is nothing you need to do. Please continue to make your payments as you normally do, using the same account numbers, websites, and phone numbers.
We will send you more details in the coming weeks to ensure you are fully prepared for this transition.
